Stella On Fire Co. was started in a family kitchen by a father-daughter team passionate about food.
As these two foodies experimented with flavors, tested recipes, and burned a dish or two, they realized two things, first most recipes call for a large number of spices 5 or 10 in some cases, secondly and most surprisingly, most seasoning brands are the same private labeled, co-packers blend everyone is selling.
The blends are not very versatile, lack clean ingredients, and very frequently are packed with tons of junk. Most brands are co-packed by the same manufacturers, making their blends nearly identical, with little distinction in quality, recipes, or taste.
Lacking in freshness, made with substandard ingredients, but also using chemicals, artificial fillers, fake flavors, coloring, preservatives, and excessive salt.

Hector and his daughter started studying everything about spices: their origin, flavor profile, and, most importantly, their health benefits. It was important for them to make food better, not worse.
They learned about Super Spices and Super Foods and decided to make these powerful ingredients the core of any product they make.
Fast forward a bit, and these two began cooking some amazing dishes. Instead of using ten different ingredients per recipe, they started substituting and using their own seasonings.

It wasn’t long before friends and family took notice. Our founders’ seasoning blends not only were delicious, but they saved time and were healthier than most food brands.
It wasn’t long before people started saying, “You should sell these.”

The entire family took a leap of faith and the road less traveled. Instead of outsourcing, they committed to manufacturing every seasoning blend, In-house and using the best ingredients possible.
What started as a family project has now grown into a nationwide business, but our core values remain the same—bring high-quality food seasonings and food products straight from our kitchen (HQ) to yours.
Fast forward a few years, and after a stressful career in the tech industry, he decided to share his flavor utopia with the rest of the world and start a business with his daughter.
Oh, yes, why the name Stella On Fire Co.?
Hector and his daughter spent countless hours in the kitchen perfecting their recipes and products, cooking, dancing, and having fun. (…you should have seen it)
Stella is the star of their imaginary restaurant and when their home menus were excellent and food was exceptional, Hector’s daughter would say, “Dad, Stella is on Fire today!” And that’s how Stella on Fire Co. was born, and a conveyance to share the joy we felt in “that kitchen” with the world.
We wanted our brand name to always remind us of how we felt those Saturday mornings in that kitchen, and for that reason, we also want to let people know that every product we offer is nothing but pure quality or “FIRE.” Thus, we named our company Stella On Fire Co.
Stella = "celestial star," derived from the Latin word for "star."
